Introduction
Welcome to LightWave 11
We are excited to present this new version with native instancing; locking; Bullet dynamics;
fracturing and more to add to LightWave’s powerful arsenal of proven technology, together with
improvements to pipeline integration, worklow and existing features.
This addendum manual presents in-depth explanations of how to use the new additions to
LightWave 11. For other areas outside of this addendum, please refer to the LightWave 10
documentation.
LightWave 11 builds on what LightWave has always been good at - ofering the best all-round 3D
tool for 3D artists. This release also solidiies LightWave’s ability to it neatly into pipelines, and we
believe the new additions will bring real beneit to artists working in production and freelance
roles alike. We’re proud of this release and hope you enjoy it!
