Bugle beads
create a geometric
lace effect
Seed beads enhance a bracelet inspired
by Norwegian Hardanger lace
by
Lynne Soto
Open spaces surrounding bugle-bead squares
form a design similar to the kloster blocks
stitched in Hardanger lace. Seed beads mimic
the threadwork used to fill in the center squares.
